Hallo,

Zunächst einmal möchte ich mich ganz herzlich vorstellen. Ich bin der speedy, 34, Fachinformatiker FR Systemintegration.

Ich bin heute auf mein neues nas 542 umgestiegen. Hab 4x2tb WD Green eingebaut und ein Raid 5 konfiguriert. Die Daten von meinem alten Nas320 werden grade noch rüber kopiert, welche ich vorher auf meinen PC gesichert habe. Ich bin mit der Übertragungsrate äußerst zufrieden, mit knapp 70mb wird geschrieben.

Zu meinem Problem: Ich vermisse die Administrator Ansicht, wie ich sie von meinem Nas320 gewohnt bin. Die Web Oberfläche ist ja ganz nett gestaltet, aber ich finde irgend einen Button für die admin Oberfläche.

Ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn mir jemand helfen könnte.

Achso Firmware ist 5.21 drauf.

You are searching for the 'classic' tree-view? I'm sorry. ZyXEL has abandoned it in favour of the current multi-fancy desktop.

That is unfortunate. But I have already seen some screenshots of users who are still available. At Youtube's there are videos in which the product is presented where you see the administrator button.

Is there no way to enable the admin view?

Firmware 5.1x still had some of the old admin page. But starting with 5.20 it's gone.

AFAIK downgrading is the only option.

Do you know how i can downgrade my nas 542?
I can't find any Information.

The upgrader checks against the current revision, and won't downgrade. So you'll have to adapt the current revision.
Login over ssh as root, and executeAfter that you can 'upgrade' to an older firmware version.
This modification won't survive a reboot.
