I somehow missed to read that the NAS540 supports hot swap according to the datasheet: https://download.zyxel.com/NAS540/datas ... S540_7.pdf . Did someone try that? And what is your experience so far? Is it stable or risky, performant after degrading the RAID or not? Should it be only limited to a second volume but not the currently installed RAID? Here: https://www.smallnetbuilder.com/nas/nas ... e-reviewed someone states that there was no alarm on degradation which is not true as I heard that annoying sound quite well
The guide ftp://ftp.zyxel.com/NAS540/firmware/521AATB5C0.pdf mentions:
Was that just a textual information removed in some place or is it also a functional change regarding the feature?Modification in V5.21(AATB.1)C0 | Jun 21 2018
